Another quick question for you guys:
I'm a little overwhelmed with the boost-a-pump / voltage booster options out there and a bit confused as to the best unit for the 11-12 models.

I read that the 11-12 models only required one unit. And would be better off with this: http://vmptuning.com/07-12-gt500-fue...m/vmpamppnp-y/

I got this from VMP's site:

*11-12 GT500 only have one factory fuel pump circuit, unlike 07-10 and 13-14 models which have two. Due to this, we recommend only running one VMP unit to prevent excessive current draw on the factory 14ga circuit.

As opposed to their Dual pumps..... ? Anyone have a take on this? or can recommend best application for 11-12 GT500's?

Ok cool. So looks like this unit should do.

Now when do you think I should be really looking into a new thermostat?

I'm using the vmp set up on my 2011. Here are my mods.
Vmp tvs with 2.4 pulley
-Vmp elbow
-Cobra jet twin 65mm throttle body
-Jlt 127 intake
-Lethal o/r X pipe
-Vmp Heat exchanger
-Reische 170 degree thermostat
-Motorcraft sp-471 gapped at .030
-Vmp fuel pump booster for 11-12 cars
-56lb/hr injectors.
highest I have see is 41, so 82%, which I am very happy with :rolling:

Now with that set you got there, you wouldn't really NEED the 170 thermostat though right?
I'm trying to find out when the best time would be to actually require a new thermo.

I changed mine when I installed the heat exchanger. Since the heat exchanger is essential from the beginning, then the thermostat is just as essential :p with that said, I don't think you NEED too t any given time :)
