I took my blue car in to have the emergency hand brake replaced because the car was delivered from the Ford with it loose (the tech said it needed to be replaced.) A few months go by and I get a car in the mail saying my part is in, and after a few more weeks pass I decide to take the car in for service. Anyway, the original leather covered e-brake handle was replaced with the new 10th anniversary carbon fiber e-brake handle. How fncool!!! Now I just need to get the steering wheel and maybe even the shifter knob too.
Not sure if it was a parts mistake or if the new style will be standard fare on the '04 cars but in any case I am well pleased.
