I have a question for those Cobra owners who have the 10th anniv car or have added the CF shift boot, is the shift boot material essentially the same as the regular leather boot, only embossed with the CF pattern, or is it a softer material.
My 04' Cobra drives me nuts because the stock shifter boot creaks and squeaks, the material is way too stiff and bunched up around the shifter. I've even tried stuffing a hand towel inside the shift boot to try to insulate it somewhat from driveline vibrations but it still creaks like an sob.,
