Pretty sure tranny is starting to slip. Time for a trans build! What do you guys recommend?
Haha this is not f150.com. Your asking a diehard blower section what you should do about your trans slipping... Not to be mean but take this to a truck forum or at least to the L section... If you want my recommendation buy a mustang and build it to run 10s like you wanted your wet dream of a truck to do.
X2. Guys with a similar set up to my 6.0 are going high 12's. with some spray low 12's-high 11's. the 6.4's are a lot nastier.

Taking off the 37" tires would be a good start or do 5.13 gears. I had 38s and a programer on my Powerstroke and tore up 3 trannys.
What sort of gears would be needed for my 100mpg monster truck idea?
I believe the optimal is around 1.20 rear gear. Just speculating though.
