I never liked motive gears to begin with.
I'd take the Strange or Moser, or Currie, or Mark Williams before those.
I'm currently running 35 spline Currie axles.
I'm never going to twist these sumbitches.

Lol ya what did you have to change to run the 35s.
Id like to keep the trac loc and c clips then just brace and weld the tubes over winter...

After breaking 4 diffs including a Truetrac and having to cut my Moser axles to remove the broken Wavetrac I decided to go with a 9".
I went with the Currie 35 spline axles which also keeps the ABS and the Currie housing.
I went with a Moser 3rd member with a 9" Wavetrac because Moser gave me a $995 credit from my 8.8" Wavetrac. The 8.8" Wavetrac is a turd due to the way the clips hold the axles.
If you go clip less there is no issue.

I should have done the 9" from the start.

If you have enough torque and traction to twist axles then I would at least go with c clip eliminators.
Losing a wheel can get expensive. It can hurt a bunch too.

Not a daily because I need to drive my service truck but I've been to NJ, this July.
I took it on a 2,000 mile round trip to KY to pick up my shortblock 2 weeks ago.
When I'm not working its always driven during the summer months.
It sees about 10,000 miles a year, never trailered.
