10, 11, 12 GT500 owners running Bassani X & Cat Backs???

Hey guys, are any of you running a Bassani exhaust system utilizing factory exhaust manifolds, Bassani X-pipe W/ Cats, and the Cat back exhaust setup???

My big question is do you get the dreaded "Drone" at around 2k RPM's???

I'm looking to make these mods, but wanted some direct feedback.

I have that setup on my 08. The exhaust is loud. Just as loud as my cousins 11 with kooks longtubes and magnaflows. There is a drone around 2k. I am planning on adding some resonators to help quiet it down.

I had that setup on my Lightning...loud as hell...pretty good droning sound too....I LOVED it, lol

I did the same thing... Hard to tell if there is a drone or not since everyone of those vids features speeds of 100 mph plus... :-D

I was going to go just like the picture shows. There is a guy on S197 forums that sells a stainless resonator that fits. I was going to hit him up for them.

The Bassani's do sound really good, just a little loud for me.

Who's making the resonators? Where would you fit them in???

I am running the 3" from the manifolds back with the high flow cats. The full system.

I'm running 2" american racing headers into a 3.5" collector into bassanis full 3'' race exhaust and its loud...and yeah definitely get the dreaded drone at 2-2.5k

I had the full 3" exhaust on my old 2009 GT500 from the stock manifolds back. Granted I wasn't running cats but the drone on the car was pretty much unbearable... The sound outside the car was sick, but any time longer than an hour driving the car would have your ears ringing, it was SOO LOUD. Hope that helps.
