I pulled the engine, and replaced all the valve stem seals. I tested all piston compression at 190+ psi before I pulled the engine. Out of the car after replacing the seals I put 32 psi into a cylinder, set the torque on the torque wrench to break over at 4 o'clock on a known good cylinder and tested all the rest. All broke over the wrench at 4 o'clock. I then turned over the engine by hand 5 times on each cylinder and each pushed to 50 psi.

Now for the question: Any other tricks I can do to know if it was the stem seals that were causing my problem before I put this back in today? I wish I had done some of these tests before I replaced the seals but that is water under the bridge now.
