Need some help here guys - here's my story.

First time ever drag racing. Was out tonight at Maple Grove PA. I got a total of 7 passes. My first pass I netted a 2.298 60' with a 13.985 1/4 mile. Yea, not the greatest, but I'm a fast learner. My 5th run, I netted a 1.968 60' with a 12.976 1/4 mile. Not too shabby for stock I guess.

Now the part that really fired me up. My 6th run of the night. While running down the track, at about the half way mark I noticed my time come up on the screen (how it usually lights up after you go through the 1/4 mile traps). So, I think nothin of it and keep bangin' gears. I go to pick up my slip, and there isn't any times listed after the 1/8 mile ...... I say to the lady what's up with my slip. She says, "Oh, we forgot to change the timers after the Jr. Dragsters went through .... sorry"

My best run of the night was ruined by some asshat who can't work the friggin machine. I was wondering if some seasoned veterans could figure out what my approximate time would have been. I'll list the 12.9 1/4 mile time next to the incomplete 1/8 mile time

1/4 1/8
R/T .648 .898
60' 1.968 1.921
330 5.509 5.403
1/8 8.398 8.273
MPH 84.77 85.53
1000 10.878
1/4 12.976
MPH 107.42

Would I have hit a 12.8 ? Maybe a 12.7 ? This is a stock 03' Cobra running the Stock Goodyear F1's. Thanks in advance guys (and gals).

(Oh yea, I said I made 7 passes, well on the 7th pass I just laid a lot of rubber, still pissed from the previous run).

Oh that sucks really freaking bad bro. WTF was wrong with them

Well i ran a 2.125 on the 60' to a 13.325 1/4. but that was 2700f elevation. Corrected its 12.899....but im not a good sample bro.

Id say ur around 12.5 - 12.8...honestly with the 1/8 times....but dude u know how to drive. Getting it under 2.0 at the 60's is really good bro  & im saying that with 100% truth.

I'd say that woulda been a 12.7

For every tenth you take off in the 60' you take off 1.5 to 2 tenths in ET
So figure almost half a tenth so a easy 12.8 if not a 12.7

You would have run at least 12.85 based off your 1/8th ET. You would continue to pick up some ground, and might been able to pull into the 12.79 range. Good run, keep up the practice. Just buy a set of ET Streets, do a good burnout, and launch the car from 3500 - 4000 RPM's and you will go another 3 to 4 tenths lower.
