1/8th mile to 1/4 mile help....

I have tried the online 1/8th to 1/4 mile conversions, they dont seem to be to good since our cars pull pretty good up high.

Does anyone have a 1/4 mile pass that is about the same as my 1/8th mile times??

1.787 60 foot
4.853 330 foot
6.989 594 foot
7.42 1/8 @ 95.5mph

From searching this site and comparing the peoples times to a conversion chart I have it seems that they average about 2 tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile than my chart shows. Obviously none of this is scientific.

So taking your number and comparing it to my chart it shows that if you run a 7.4 in the 1/8th that equals a 11.5 in the 1/4. So you take the 11.5 and subtract 2 tenths and you have 11.3 in the 1/4 mile.

I hope someone can supply a true number from one of their runs that they have, so it will help you out more.

Yeah, mine is 8.01 in 1/8th = 12.4 which = 12.2-12.3 using that method. That puts a big smile on my face, but like I said there is no science behind this, just research

I read that if you multiple 1.56 times your 1/8, you should get your 1/4 time.
