Have a friend with a 94 -z28 A-4, had a shift kit, open exhaust, a tune, and some nitto's. His best was a 13.3 at around 99mph.

He then did the cam/pp heads and some other stuff. Let me tell you that car really woke up. I loved how it idled with the big ass cam........

the ls1 f-bodys were high 12 second cars with some good tires and a good driver. They can trap around 107 stock from what I have seen.

He is asking about LT1's, not LS1's. Most LT1's in stock trim run low-mid 14's at around 95-98 or so. A tad slower than new GT's.

from what ive seen from Norwalk drag way they will run low 14's all day long, never seen mid 14's but i did see some idiot post a 15.7 lol

Not to sound like a mag racer but hpp's project 94 z28 auto with 114k miles ran a best of 13.82 and an average of 13.92.

an 03 gt vs a 94 lt1 is gonna be all about the driver.

dont got video for proof but i did beat a newer gt automatic from a 50-100mph roll pretty badly. prolly a bad driver but hell a kills a kill.

My 2001 WS6 did a 13.5 at 103 with wheel spin after driving through thwater on aterrible 2.2 60 ft.

With a little practice it should do 13.1 with a 2.0 60 ft assuming .2 for every .1 of the 60 ft lost. And I have seen others claim to do 12.9 in a 01 WS6 stock or pretty much stock.

I hope that helps...

The 01' WS6 is the same as the 02'. The previous years were a little differnt for the LS1.

That's a low ass trap speed for that time.

An auto LT1 will run from 14.0 to 14.4 I had a 93 Z and I still think my 02GT stock for stock was a little quicker cause it launched better.

13.8-14+ @ 98-100 LT1

13.0-13.6 @102-107 LS1 Depending on Stick or auto

You are looking at normally high 13's, low 14's @ 99-100mph for a stock LT1.

Best times have been 13.3-13.4@105mph for a bone stock LT1. Not many people are capable of pulling that off.

Elevation is key when asking this question. I can tell you what they run at 3100'.

The LT1 in an Fbody will run mid to high 14's in an Auto equipped car keeping in mid that LT1's are now fairly old and usually are found with 60K miles or more on the mill so times can vary considerably.

The LS1 stock will run 14.1-14.0 at 103-104 with an average 60' of 2.20. In A4 trim.

13.3 at 105 with a 2.18 sixty. Mods in sig.90 deg. weather. And a stock LS1 with either a 6 speed or a4 will run 13.5 to 13.8 on avg def not 14's.
