Considering a Procharger. Current times are in signature. Want to know what 1/4 times and especially mph are with the 8 or 10 psi Procharger? I did search and have seen lots of dyno numbers...means nothing. I want to know what they do on the drag strip!!! Thanks in advance!!

Were shooting for 11's with a 98 vert running 8 psi off a Vortech s-trim. This is on a street tire, no slicks, 100% stock motor from intake to oil pan.

completely depends on the setup, first tell me what numbers you are shootin for or else its pretty arbitrary. U gonna have a built engine? If not u'll be running 8psi and maybe 430 hp, do the 1/4 in mid 12's maybe lower if you got a decent drag setup.

If you get a built bottom end bump the boost to 10+ (12-13) you can get around 500hp and be talkin low 12s, high 11s with a new clutch and a rear end if you plan on nailin it outta the whole.

With a good tune and 8 psi., you should be at 450rwhp or more. That will get you 12's easy. Add gears and sticky tires and you should be 11's easy. Built bottem end and more boost should get you 10's easy.

I didn't realize that I need another 160rwhp to run mid 12's, damn. lol.

If I had 450+rwhp, I'd be running 11.70's AT LEAST.

thats if you suck at driving, should easily be able to hit 11's if you got a decent drag setup

+1 you dont need an ass load of hp. there are plenty of guys with n/a bolt on 4v's running low 12's

rippen you have any other pics of your car? it looks badass! i pretty much have a white clone to it except the saleen wing.

This all depends on your suspension setup. I have 96 Cobra with a stock engine including airbox! With good suspension/, gears and tires I go 12.90@106mph. On a 50HP NX shot I go 12.40@111MPH! I am now switching the nitrous for a Novi 1000 at 8psi. With the extra 50+ HP I will go 11's for sure. If you are the average Joe who invests in nothing but HP, You will be lucky to spin your way into a high 12.

my buddy ran a 12.9 on his n/a 1996 cobra ( FR500 valvetrain) on street tires. My other buddy has a 03' with most of the bolt ons pulley catback midpipe, ect. we guess that he probably puts out about 450 to the ground. he ran and 11.7 on nitto drag radials. plus his car is heavier than yours and he has irs.

He linked it in a post above

Lakewood 50/50's in the rear
Lakewood 70/30's in the front
Ford B Springs (Perfect spring for drag racing while lowering the car!)
4.30 Gears
Hoosier Quick Time Pros 26X11.5X15 I absolutely love these tires!

What suspension set up are you going with? Also what weight reduction? I’m shooting for high 11’s in my 97 on procharger making 8psi (401/367). However I’ll be using a drag pack, not street tires
