I get a grind shifting into reverse unless I go into 4th first. Everything I can find points to the TSB but my car has new McLeod clutch and flywheel. I did almost hit reverse at 150+ at the texas mile. It didn't go into gear but did get in the gate, I didn't hear a grind then. It is not real bad but kind of annoying. Can it be fixed? I have read it is "normal" bla bla nature of the beast etc. BUT it didn't do it before!

Reverese doesn't have synchros in any manuals I'm aware of. Not in first either. Most manuals will benefits from any forward gear, then rev. T5's, like in Foxes, forget it. If you do gforward, then rev, you get the classic "T5 grind." Only think I can think of if you didn't have the problem before is it may not have enough preload on the TO bearing ? That would keep the input at a higher speed than R would like.
