Few pics of the new setup - 2010 SVT wheels, widened in the rear to 10.75 by Weldcraft, stock 255/45/18 in the front, 315/35/18 Toyo TQ out back. Car is lowered on Ford SVT suspension.

Hello,

I have an 2010 and the rears are 19s, do you have 18's or 19's on the rear?
Any rubbing issues?

Looks good.

Thanks, those are the 18inch SVT wheels made for the 2010 GT500 Vert. Plenty of room (one finger) without even touching the dustcovers. Some have fit 335's on the rear without rubbing, but that is about the max. Need a panhard bar to center the axle as well.

Good looking 500. I'll keep an eye out for it around here. If you don't mind me asking how much was the process to widen the rims? And how was the process (pita)?

Awesome function and great looks, excellent:rockon:
Considering doing this to my 19's. Anyone know what size tires guys are running on widen 19's?

Maybe it is just the pictures, or maybe just me, but it looks like the front tires have more sidewall and are therefore larger in diameter. Is that so, or am I crazy?

The car does look good though, I really like those wheels.

Thanks. Weldcraft did the wheels and did a great job. Widened wheels with tires balanced out better than the factory wheels. 235.00 per wheel x 2, plus shipping. Rims were bought new for cheap ($125 ea). Takes a few weeks to widen, but no problems at all. I would easily do it again.

Hmmm, not sure on this. Most 19s I see are 295's or 285's?, however some Drag radials can be found in 305/35/19 if your car is a summer driver.

Currently the front is 255/45, so .29 inches in diameter larger than the back (1/3 inch). I will replace with better gripping 275/40's, which will be exactly the same diameter as the rears, and fit better on the front rims which are 9.5.
Outgoing tires were 305/40/18s, and were 3/4 inch too tall. The new ones look and tuck so much better.

I think that the 18's look great on there! I think 18's have the best tire selection out there, which is why I ditched my 20" wheels and went back to 18's.
