Took the car out to test and tune at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, TX..

Car is stock other than CAI, B&B Fusions and 275-40-17 drag radials.

Got 3 passes in total in about 4 hours.

1st run was a new best. Had some wheel hop on the launch, only bad thing in the run.
2nd run was another best.. Slight bog on the launch but overall was a good run.
3rd run bogged pretty bad but still got a good time.

Looking forward to better weather so I can continue to drop these times and keep being impressed with what this car is capable of.

Here are the timeslips from the runs.

Not bad. You should be able to drop that 60ft with the 17's, although the stock clutch hates hard launches. I miss running my Z's down the strip, they're a blast to drive

Yea I'm still getting used to this car.. I have only had the car for about 4-5 months now and had it at the track 3 times. Each time the times are coming down so I'm deff. getting used to the car.

Wow, very impressive. The power of these cars when combined with the race weight , makes this one heck of a lethal combo. Still partial to the SVT Mustangs though! lol

are there any fords out there that run those times stock?

Define stock? This car was on drag radials. I believe there have been many GT500s factory stock on DRs run low 11s as well. Drag radials and skinnies a 2011 GT500 went 11.16 @124 (member on this forum)

Nice runs OP! Love the Zo6's! Beautiful cars and FAST!

Thanks everyone..

I'm not sure what other cars run near stock.. Not to worried about making it a competition or say one car is better than another. I just really want to hit 10's with the couple changes I have made to the car.

I dont see full weight GT500's running low 11's stock either. Maybe pullied. Those cars are just to heavy.
