So my cars front bumper got scratched in a parking lots and I just received a check from insurance to correct it. Shop said they would paint the whole front bumper. Yea! To remove the bugs!
My question is this. I am wanting to test my skills as wet sanding the bug damaged spot before it hits the shop because they are gonna do it anyway right?
Can some toss me a quick step by step?
1. Clean the area
2. Wet sand with 2,500 and and not removing the clear cost completely
3. Meguiar's buffer to buff sand paper scratches out
4. Wax and like new again?
Is this just a bad idea?
