07 GT Vs Me

Hey how is it going guys! My buddy just recenlty purchased a new 07 alloy GT 5spd about 4 days ago. First couple of days he took it easy on the car trying to "break it in". Tonight we decided to go have some smokes at the local hangout spot, when we where all done and ready to go home he says "Hey you wanna try em out on the hwy" i said "Sure".

We get to hwy 101 south, we said we would go from a 35mph roll, i honk 3 times and in just 2nd i pull about 1 1/2 cars, and shut down by 120 and had like 5+ cars on him.. we ran about 6 times all pretty much the same. the car has about 300miles and he isnt the fastest shifter yet, so il give him a couple more weeks so he can get his shifting down and il run em again. :coolman:

Those cars may only make 270whp so I think even with a better driver, you should win no problem. With mods, the 07 GT could hang with you pretty decent. They are much better from a dig on sticky tires. Nice kill.

I like the 07s SOOO much better than the 05/06s. At first I thought the scoop looked out of place, but now I love it.

sounds about right...From a dig.....if he could realy drive his car then he could prob. close the gap to within 3 to 4 lenghts behind you. You are modded and run in the high 12's so it would take gears and bolt ons to keep up with you.

He runs much faster than high 12's now Re-read that sig sir :thumbsup:

Good kill man! With your driving skills from a dig, I see no reason why you wouldn't mop the floor with your buddy modded from a dig.

Thx man, The stang car is rated at 300hp stock, 270 isnt that a lil high to the wheels? anyways i will be running him from a dig.. my car does "ok" from a dig aswell :coolman: , i mean i only run from digs it was shocking that he wanted to go from a roll. but we will see what happens.

I see...:coolman: Looks like it would take bolt ons and steep gears with either drag suspension and or weight reduction to make this a drivers race.
