06 Saleen Supercharged vs my 03 Cobra.

Yeah, but he is in Oregon. Probably at a higher than usual altitude.

I wonder what track that was ran at so we could look up the elevation. A stock saleen may run 12's at sea level but take it up 3-4,000 feet and the times will suffer. A stock 03 Cobra with exhaust could do a little better than 12.8 too.

It's called street tires at a track with very little prep (didn't the screeching tires give it away?) with the stock pulley.

And shouldn't you have said - YIKES, I only run a 12.1 on a GT with complete o/r exhaust, reduced weight, 10lb. KB, 4.10's, skinnies and slicks when a guy with a full weight, mid pipe, cat back, stock pulley (8lbs.) Eaton on street tires is only 1/2 second slower!!!

As for the Saleen, he paid slightly under MSRP a few months ago (a new '06) and gets less traction than my car... can you say 20" wheels w- no sidewall.
