05 block in 2003 cobra?

a guy i work with has a 2005 GT with a very built bottom end and he is going to a 5.4. i plan on buying his short block and putting it in my 2003 cobra, with a set of ported 4v heads. what i want to know is will the 2005 short block bolt in the same way, as in all the motor mount bolt holes are in the same place on the block? thanks-jim

the block from a cobra needs adapters to fit an 05 so not sure the other way around..I bet it will fit, pretty sure its the same block ford use for their aluminator short blocks..

Yes it will bolt in. all modular engines will bolt into any modular vehicle. regardless if it's 2v 3v or 4v.
