first off... welcome to the site, sounds like you have a bad ass car.

headers are going to help you a lot once your over that 600+rwhp. what kind of boost do you have? how agressive is the tune? maybe jump that boost up and have a tune set up for race gas and you might be happy enough with that.

spray it, or get a behemoth inlet and you will see 700 plus for sure!!!

and jmo, if you just bought a high performance car.... the first thing i would do is get it tuned to make sure its set up right. you dont want your expensive car to blow up because its running to lean!

Im not familiar with whipples...But i would say throw a 4lb lower and maybe drop the upper pulley size if you can..others will chime in and give you a good answer

the thing with the key is always a good idea... pretty much anybody with a 03/04 cobra should do this... i do as well, helps load up the fuel pressure.

if your at 19psi on 93 octane... i think you might be happy with a different tune set for 24psi and 104 for the weekends!

thanks ! If i got that done at amazon - how much you guess it would run ?

It won't be cheap, but going to the next level never is.

Stage 3 ported heads - $2295
Custom cams - $950
New springs and retainers -$450
Long tubes + x-pipe - $1100

You can find some of these items used in the market section if you keep your eyes open.

and bottom line, you dont race the dyno!!!

lots of guys with around 500rwhp in the tens. you can have all the ponies you want but if your car isn't set up right it wont matter.

if you did all this:
Stage 3 ported heads - $2295
Custom cams - $950
New springs and retainers -$450
Long tubes + x-pipe - $1100

thats a lot of money just to brag that you have 7hundo to the ground.

instead you could go straight axle and an auto for less money. and your car with slicks would be sick at the track!!!!
