04 Terminator ... anything on replacing timing components?

Definitely don’t crack that motor open unless you absolutely have to. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. These cars have, I think, the strongest factory motors ever built. With regular maintenance they’ll last forever.

Point taken ... will most likely return my recently obtain kit.

Clamping lower PCV hose (?) ... loose fit problem?
Seems a 170 degree thermostat is popular(?).

Lower hose will harden,will not pull off but will spin,, causes po 171/174.
Ford didn't use anything.

I have 170 in mine and a buddy has 180 in his. No issues with either and mine has seen triple digit weather with the A/C going. Though I still plan on upgrading the radiator at some point.

Quite reassuring for us. BTW, we did purchase a 4 row aluminum along with both smaller tanks as well ... hopefully a large plus to this car.
