'04 has "pup cats" before normal cat....???

is this something new for the '04's??
the size of the main cat is definitley bigger than the '03's but did the 03 also come with these little pup pre-cats??

Mine was number 50 out of the lot of 03 verts, and mine had those pre cats.:shrug:
