04 cobra vs. R1, what mods?

my buddy wants an opinion on what to do to his cobra in order to take an 05 R1, I told him probally full exhaust kb or whipple, DR's basic bolt ons and a good tune, just wanting yall's opinions or experiences on this subject? :shrug:

an 05 R1 will be a tuff one to beat, also will have to take into account weather it is from a dig or a roll. from a dig you will have to have the cobra running into the low 10's if the rider can drive the bike.

from a roll you will need a good gear, traction and about 700rwhp. i think the new R1's are running into the very low 10's with the factory tires and exhaust.

now if you race a R6 then you could take hime with a KB 2.4 and alot of boost and you will beat him down from a roll, but a dig you will need good traction and a good drive of the car.

The R1 has seen high 9's with a pro driver and a tiny bit of suspension tweeking (free stuff.)

LOL he will need to be HIGHLY modded to take down an R1 from a stop, and even from a roll he's gonna need to be over 675rwhp or so
