My job started requiring more of me, so against my better judgement i sourced it out to a shop which turned out to be a big mistake...

What did they mess up on? These kits are pretty much pure bolt ons with a minimal wiring. I bet they charged you pretty good for the install too. Did the turbo kit not come with restrictors, and if it did why did they not put them in? Did the shop say they were not required?

other than the turbos and lack of communication there were some small little things , maybe i'm alittle picky over...

I can really comment on the questions at this time...

Yeah that sucks a rebuild is going to cost you a few $$$. I would put the restrictors in and see if your lucky and they reseal. Did you get a lot of oil in your exhaust? So is that aluminum box a drain canister for the turbos?

I believe Turbonetics said 300 for yeah turbo if all they had to do was replace seals .

there is restrictors in it now, they were installed by the shop that did the install before i picked it up ..

yeah the Turbo's drain into the box and the oil pump pulls it out into the oil pan ..

That is probably all it is (the seals) since you have a drain canister the bearing housing should be fine. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Have you tried taking the piping off and cleaning everything out? I ran mine with no restrictors at first, and have also had a pump failure, and both times I was able to get it to stop smoking after cleaning everything out.
