Has anyone here ever had an alternator fail without the battery light coming on?

If you're running a mechman their adapter harness has a 12v wire you individually wire up. This prevents that battery light from coming on if the alternator quits. Ask me how I know

Alts can fail with no light. Test it at the source

I've never seen the battery light come on in my car other than on start up, but my car 100% ate two of them.

Mine just failed it was OEM no light came on.. so I checked my lights on dash when turn key on. There is no light in my car as lights all came on during test mode.

Mine failed completely. I Was trying to say is I have no charging warning light on my dash whatsoever when I do test on warning lights

Five times no it didn’t I used the test mode on the tach functions as well as a X4. Last alt actually triggered the light.
