I have a 8.8 out of an 04 Cobra, and I'm wondering if a problem I'm having is related to it. It feels like when I start moving from a stop, the rear passenger side is slipping or something. It's hard to describe, but that's as close as I can get. The car feels/drives fine otherwise.
I know it isn't the suspension, that's all tight. after market springs/shocks and everything that was rubber is now poly.
This rear has seen many 1.6x and 1.5x 60ft times in my stupidly heavy 2006 GTO...
I feel dumb about dealing with clutch packs and LSD and whatever. As far as I know, all the internals of the rear are stock.
