My brother took his 03 Z06 to the track for some test and tune. This was at Rockingham last weekend for the Phantasm Imports Vs. Domestics. He was the fastest by far. He was still having issues with a boost leak. We'll get that fixed and try again.

03 Z06: Stock bottom end, intake, throttle body, and heads, ECS Cam, ECS Novi 2000 kit, Alky Meth Kit, RPM Stage 6 - 4L60, RPM Half Shafts, stock suspension, Hoosier 275/40 17 Drag Radials
Still has all emissions, a/c, ect.

Tuned by Tick Performance in Mt. Airy, NC

R/T .556
60' 1.48
1/8 6.35
MPH 113.50
1000' 8.27

1/4 9.89

It's got nearly 200 passes and hasn't blown up yet.
He has every time slip from the previous owner and from his runs.
However, he is making plans for a built motor and upping the boost to around 20-22lbs.

sknapp302 -- He has it at 14lbs. It made 667 or 676 I can't remember, but he was only seeing 11.5lbs at the track. He was seeing full boost previously so we knew he was loosing boost somewhere. We think its the check valve on the oil catch can line.

boduke0220 -- Thats awesome! I wish I wouldn't have missed that run! I love his Cobra! I've been trying to keep up with his runs since he bought the car. He's a pretty nice dude.

That white Evo was bad! I would love to see it run on the street! I saw him run a 10.8 or 11.2, something like that; and he ended up trapping around 148mph. Nasty!

I was there that day. That car was a beast. I wanted to see it run the evo that would have been the best race of the day

My dads friend has the almost exact same setup. ECS novi 2000 with AFR 225's. Different cam. He trapped 138 and he drives it almost daily. Minus when it rains. Im still amazed what these cars can do with some FI and a set of heads.

Yes.
Being a Ford guy, I was impressed. I always thought of Corvettes as "old guy" cars.
Now, I'd love to have one, but it would never see the drag strip.
I'm looking forward to seeing the car run when he gets a motor built. He's thinking of changing the head unit to a Novi 2500 and selling the 2000.

True but they dont NEED heads to run like that. My friends LS2 Vette had a 228 cam, headers,ECS 1500 @ 11 pounds and he went 11.3 @137 on run flats. He made 640 RW. They rip with some boost.
