Hello Peeps! I was hoping you guys could help me out with an issue I found the other day. I was taking my 03 Termi out for a ride so my bud could put a sticker on it. It's well into winter up here in NH but the roads were pretty clean and my bud was at his shop and I needed a sticker! So.... I took the "LONG" way to his shop which included a quick rip down route 93 in "Mexico" to stretch her legs. Well, long story short, I easily slipped my T56 into a quick blip of "Oh yes.. anyone want coffee?" grinds.... Yep. Went right into reverse for a nanosecond on the highway. Ummmm... not supposed to happen right?
Car is an 03 Cobra with factory clutch, trans, etc. Has an MGW shifter. I'm sure that I'm not supposed to be able to shift into reverse while driving with the reverse lockout....
What should I be looking for or testing? Is it as simple as the lockout switch?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
