OK im tryin to get my tranny out but it keeeps hittin the chassis.. do i have to take the converter off the same time i pull the tranny or can i leave it on?? any tips on how to get it out..

put a jack underneath the crank pulley on the engine, then jack it up a little bit. May need to loosen the motor mounts. This will lift the front of the engine up, and the tranny will lower down just enough so that you can slip it out. Its a tight fit. good luck...
i tried that but imhittin on the drivers side and the top.. i tried to lower the front a lil but it still hits....
must only be like that on auto's, mine came out easy
