03 GT maunal to auto tranny conversion HELP

I have an 03 GT and would like to swap out the manual transmission for an automatic. I should have the 3650 tranny and would like to switch to a stock auto, i believe 03's had the 4r70w autos correct? Whats the difference between the 4r70w and the AODE? What parts would i need to make this conversion. talking stock to stock, this is my fiances daily driver and she is having a hard time learning to drive a stick.

instead of doing the swap, teach her and let her practice for a month or so and she'll be good.

it's been a month or so already. I'm not trying to say she can't learn, she has gotten ALOT better then when she started. I'm just trying to understand what would be needed IF it needs to be done, i really don't want to do it.
