Need some help guys. I just finished buttoning everything up on my new build. Oil was primed, car has coolant and I'm getting fuel to the injectors.

Car turns over but doesn't start? Any ideas

Ps: I noticed my "theft" light is the first light on when I crank it.
Even with the car unlocked and key out I see the "theft" light flashing. I don't remember if this is normal or not. Do your cars do this?

Is there any way to fix this issue without having to go to the dealership?

its probably theft system, i just checked my car and when i go to crank it the theft light stays , unlike yours when you start cranking it becomes a solid light

I hope I don't encounter anything like this after my motor R&R, in for what you find.

What about when your car is off but unlocked. Is the theft light flashing like mine?

Yea after doing some research on this. Apparently it's pretty common for this to happen after an engine rebuild

yes its flashing when its unlocked with no key in the ignition

Ok thanks. My driver side door decided to take a dump. I wonder if it's related to it. The button unlocks but the door mechanism doesn't open. I wonder if it can be related

UPDATE: I reloaded my tune. The "theft" light doesn't turn on while I'm cranking it anymore.
So I don't think it's a PATS issue now. What else could it be?

Edit: this is a Teskid block fwiw

Or your crank or cam sensor is unplugged. Did you put the crank cog on the inside of the timing cover? So the crank sensor gets a reading

I checked the crank sensor and its plugged in. Where is the Cam sensor?

I had someone assemble the long block. Timing cover was on when I received it. Man I hope the crank cog is not the issue.

It's probably a sensor issue. Check all connections. Make sure tps isn't flipped. Mine had theft light and wouldn't fire. Flipped tps and immediately fired

Pumps priming?

I fuel coming out of my injectors. I don't think it's a fuel issue.

Cam sensor and crank sensor are plugged in.

What do you mean flip the tps? Cuz I did put a new one on while I rebuilt my engine

Check for voltage at injectors..than ground signal from pcm.coils are on same power line..

most of the time if engine turns over its not a pats issue..

everything is hooked up on air inlet
