I went to a car show today something to do and they have awsome barbeque there. i actually got a top 10 trophy witch is pretty cool. anyway there was a yellow challenger srt there it had a freestanding sighn board that listed the mods flowmaster cat back, cold air intake , custom diablosport tune 550 horspower also a lot of mopar litterature for the hellcat . I was leaving and driving home i was behind 2 cars getting on the expressway and he passed me on the left and gave me a rev as he went bye as luck would have it the 2 cars got off and i was free to catch him i got next to him in third in the sweet spot and he gunned it i followed and passed him shifted to fourth and really opened up the gap. it was pretty bad . At the end of the expressway he was yelling thats a 4.6 i said yup stock 4.6. I dont think he beleived me.

I would agree...550hp is bullshit. I had a 2012 SRT-8. Cool car, lots of positive attention. Orange with silver stripes...it was a bit too flashy for me. I was underwhelmed by the engine...it did not impress me. I am convinced it is a Dodge thing. Their Cummins with "800" ft lbs of tq can't seem to keep up with a Ford or Chevy. The Challenger's 6 speed is terribly sorted too. Ratios felt wrong. Clutch engagement point is too high. I would never buy another Challenger with a stick. My GT500 is a world of difference ...much more of a drivers car. ...so much more satisfying.

usually see about 15 psi on my scan guage with no map sensor. Car was remote tuned by vmp and made 537 on a mustang dyno. The shop told me to add 40 horses so im thinking at least 570. dont wanna start the happy dyno sad dyno debate. But everyone who runs on that dyno is usually down on power.
