Check out a guy selling a new complete 2003 Cobra engine on Ebay.

It could be a done up 2001 motor. The bottom of that block doesn't look like cast iron to me.

It's still more expensive to buy this motor in install it if your a 01 owner. How about the room for the cooling unit the front facia has been marginaly redesigned for this SC option looks nice though.

Good luck trying to come up with the engine control computer, harness and all the other stuff you would need to make it work. It would be a big time project. But would be an excellent engine for the Factory 5 Cobra kit car
