I have a 03 cobra and the 6 disc cd changer just says error when i try to play or eject a cd and says slots full when i try to load them. any ideas? I was thinkin about puttin a in dash dvd/cd player.

I had the same problem in my GT, never was able to get it fixed...but I suggest going with a new deck

I dont know if this is bad luck or just a coincidence but as I was driving to lunch my CD player (stock deck) all of a sudden said the same exact thing disc error...so definitely getting rid of it asap! Good ol' Ford :bash:
They do that. Too many tiny moving parts.
Basically it's just shitty. My 03 GT does the same thing. I have to use a credit card to help it eject CDs. If I wasn't selling that car in a few months I absolutely would replace the head unit. I actually have never put a CD in my Cobra (same head unit), but I'm guessing it's craptacular too.
I just punch my radio when it acts up. Sometimes resetting some contacts is all you need. :beer:
