03 Cobra and Bassani X-Pipe question

Will the Bassani X-pipe from a 2001 Cobra fit on an '03?

Welcome aboard. What part of Arizona? I've heard from a few people on this forum that have said the 01 Bassani does fit the 03 Cobra.

Are you looking to get an 03 and wanting to swap in the exhaust from your 01?

You might be doing yourself a disservice. I would suggest Bassani's new equipment... Bassani has crafted an exhaust system specifically for the 03. It fits perfectly with sweet looking 4" exhaust tips that are custom cut for the 03 body. And it is designed to compliment the supercharger. The X-pipe is 46033, and the aft-cat system is 4603C5S. I have the aft-cat (catback) and I am very pleased with the sound and all.

I agree with the cat back, but if the xpipe fits then whats the difference. I am taking the one off my 01 and putting it on my 03 this week. I expect it to fit perfectly, am I wrong......Steve

Well.. right now we are in the discussion mode with a couple of dealers on a cobra. In each case I will have to drive 1.5 days to get the car. :bored:

What is the hood blanket mod I've seen mentioned?

Haven't gotten the car yet. Still working the "numbers". Also the car is in Tennesee and I am in Arizona. (Oh well...)

Maybe by next week.. Good Lord willing and the finance rates don't rise!
