I need to pop this sucker off, I have search and came up with very little. I know they turn down differently and look different compared to early models. How do you get them off?

Found this some years ago.

You have to raise the rest all the way up, then take a jimmy and insert it in the front of the headrest, then push the headrest back down forcing the jimmy in further with it, grab the headrest and pull up, it should slide out. The locking mechanism is a ball located on the front side of the bar, so you have to get the jimmy between the bar and the ball to release the lock.
