I'm in the market for a new clutch and wanted to get yall's opinions on what one to get. I've narrowed it down to either a Ford Racing 03/04 Cobra clutch (I can get for $220 brand new) or a Centerforce Dual Friction ($335 brand new).

I'll be installing a new aluminum flywheel, pilot bearing, tob, tob retainer sleeve & ldc freeplay clutch spring at the same time.

I've got the basic bolt-ons and putting down 313hp.

Here's my driveline setup:

T-56, Steeda FW adjuster & quadrant, aluminum driveshaft, oem clutch cable

Which of these two clutches would you go with?

Taken plenty of abuse with no complaints.

I like the Centerforce DF in our basically stock 01. However, I bought it before the 03/04 clutch was available. Our 99 has a SPEC.

For the cost, go with the 03/04.

i decided to go with the 03/04 clutch. for that price, i couldn't see a good enough reason not to go with it.

i appreciate everyone's advice on this!

I'm pretty sure Autozone sells the Timken bearing. I also just purchased the 03/04 Cobra clutch. After 67K miles my original has started to die.

Sure do, one of the main brands they carry. I just saw Anthony post that D&D performance had the best deal on the 03/04 clutch so before you buy I would hope over theere and take a look, see if you can save yourself some bucks
