02 Z06 vs 2011 Roushcharged 5.0

nice runs , you did decent considering the power disadvantage..5.0 with a blower is a pretty bad ass machine..
Anyone know how much more weight the stang is carrying with blower/support mods?

My buddy bought the Z06 a week ago and we were very surprised how strong it is. He just ordered HCI

Stick - The upgraded interior package is awsome on this car.

that Z06 runs hard for bone stock with only a 4.10 I was shocked to feel a stock car pull that hard with nitto's exhaust and tune it would of probably ran door to door..

Having had a bolt on C5Z , I know the gears help out alot..Especially with the more aggressive MN12 1-3 gears

I was expecting the Z to get pulled much harder. Those 4.10s must be great for the slighty shorter gearing. The 5.0 was moving out though. Rematch when the Z has H/C & a smaller pulley for the GT.

LOL how do you zoom out when the car is 4 feet away ?? Night runs are hard to get a good vid without back lighting. BTW its a LS6

I think people under estimate how fast the last generation Z06 vettes were. I had an 02 Z06, and with basic bolt ons and street tires I ran a 12.5 at the track. Throw some DR and its a high 11/low 12 sec car. Then add a power adder/gears/etc.. it becomes a low 11/high 10 sec car

Mine went 12.68 @ 112 bone stock, full weight, and tires at 30 psi... Still... I thought a supercharged 5.0 would have pulled harder.

Camera looks zoomed in, and I know the cars are four feet away. Other wise I wouldn't of made note of it. I know it's an ls6. I ment to say ls* I was thinking about my car at the time.
