02 Sensors

Got the Cobra jacked up to intall the bassani x and stingers, however I got looking and had a question about the 02 Sensors. Is there any special way to remove them so I can remove the stock-h? Do I need a tool?

A short little write up would be helpful. Thanks!

Unplug,Unscrew.I think it`s a 1-1/16'' wrench.

No special tools at all.You might want to hit it them w some PB Blaster or similar 1st.Then give a good tugg,they might be a little tight!

Just reverse the process,you might want to put a tad of anti-seize on the thread.Don`t get any on the sensor tip.

unplug then and then take the pipe out. Then take them out, much easier than trying to leave them plugged in and unscrewing then on the car

mine just came out with an ordinary wrench, piece of cake, in went the prochamber

I was going to tell him you can do it that way,but while the pipes are still bolted up,you can get more leverage.He might just want to change a sensor some day that has gone bad.
