About to change out the gasket on the rear end but need a solid gear oil to go pick up beforehand. Read gm and valvoline syncromesh are good but as hoping to nail one or the other down . Would they require F/M? Thanks in advance fellas

A quality synthetic 75w-140 gear oil is what you want to use.

Synchromesh or Synchromax are a substitute fluid for manual transmissions that use ATF.

Im going to be using RP. Says already contains FM but I've also seen on a few forums guys still throwing in a qt or so of FM anyway. Suggestion on that?

Yeah they say to add FM even with the royal purple, it's not a quart though. Just a few oz. I would just buy the differential fluid and seal kit from LMR or wherever that comes with everything you will need.
