Where are you getting your info from? $28K for a 2001 L with 12,000 miles is a fair price.

Mods only lower the value on trade in. With a private sale, people that want these vehicles have already done their research and want the right mods, just like this vehicle has.

As for being able to buy a 2002 for $29K, where????

"A" plan is just at $28K and "X" plan is just over $29K. And there are dealers that wont even take either plan on the Lightning.

Plus there are still dealers that are getting $3-4K over sticker for them.

Did you have a bad offer on your L when looking to trade it in for the Cobra????

My buddy got $25,000 for his '01 from an individual w/ his 5# lower pulley, chip, hard bed cover, and sound system (Alpine head unit, Alpine V12 amp, and sub, as well as tweets). He only had 18k miles. I got 24k for my '01 from the dealer. I returned it back to stock.

I bought my '01 for 28960 on X-Plan and my '02 for 29111 on X-Plan.
