01 mustang gt egr valve

01 mustang gt... i have error code p0401 (Exaust gas recirculation flow insufficiant Flow). i know it has something to do with the egr system. the car runs like shit from 1000 rpms to 1700 rpms when giving it really light throttle, the car bucks. I disconnected to vacuum line that is directly above the egr valve and the car doesn't buck and runs smoother. how can i fix this?

you could also delete the egr. i personally think deleteing it is better cause you dont have all that mess under the hood. bad part about it is it will throw a cel but you can have a tuner turn the egr of

so i took the egr valve out and cleaned it with carb cleaner and nothing it didn't fix a thing. so you guys think its the valve that's broken or could it be the egr solenoid?

My experience will tell you ever time I have tried to clean them it doesn't work. Only replacing them did the trick.

replaced the dpfe sensor and the bucking went away!!! if anyone else is having this problem check that sensor it might be it.
