01 KB Cobra track results!!!!!

Ok tonight went pretty well. The weather sucked 90F 78% Humidity ambient. 10mph headwind (right straight down the track!) +2181 DA

My first run

heated the nitto DRs (275/40) up pretty good for about an 8 second burnout

R/T - .760 i was sleeping
60' - 1.897 not bad I launched at 3k
330' - 5.267
1/8 - 7.980 @ 90.48
1000- 10.306
1/4 - 12.239 @ 116.03

Run number 2

R/T - .548 getting better
60' - 1.937, (alittle to much clutch to early)
330' - 5.294
1/8 - 7.990 @ 91.22
1000 - 10.307
1/4 - 12.233 @ 116.42

These are by the way my very first 12 sec passes, needless to say i was quite happy. I know there is more left in this car, i could have launched harder, but that fear of breakin the diff or a half shaft was looming in my head. In cooler weather with better air i have every confidence that an 11.9xx is possible.
Next runs will be after my 3.73 gear, diff brace and bushing install

something interesting...I was shifting into 4th about 20yds in front of the line with the stock 3.27s at 6800rpm

Sweet..Whats done too it? Boost, Intercooled? I just ran my buddys 97 cobra with a kenny bell. 8psi 1.5 non intercooled With the same numbers 1.8 60foot and 116mph but ran 12.4. I heard 116mph is good for a little more??

If thats true you can take off like a half second at bradenton or gville. OSW sucks, I hate that track.

Yes, 1.7L Intercooled

Seeing 9psi with the 3 1/8th pulley

Numbers are 468RWHP/414RWTQ
