01 GT cylinder misfire

just bought an 01 GT & cylinder 5 is misfiring, & the spark plugs are getting too much fuel on them. the car isnt running good at all. any idea what the problem could be? I heard the computers go out on them too?

swap the ignition coils with another cylinder. If the misfire switches to that cylinder, it's the coil. If it's still missing on #5, you more than likely have an injector or plug issue

the injectors, coils, & spark plugs are good. but its still running crappy. Im getting the p0340 code. people say when they change the cam sensor it doesnt do anything, & its actually a bad alternator. is that true?

Alternator is a 3 valve issue not really a known problem for 2 valves. Check voltage output from the alternator.

Disregard. A lot of threads saying alternator issues.

So did you change the CPS? I mean that is what the code says is bad.
