Do you have a custom tune? If not it should help a bunch. Overall seems right on for the mods.

Not bad times at all.. back when my GT was stockish, I was low on funds so I bought a Dremel and went to town grinding and smoothing the upper plenum and throttle body. Took about a weekend but made a huge differance in throttle response and picked up 1.5 MPH next time at the track.

My GT also has 4.10s... its not as bad as you think it'd be if you don't drive on the highway much. I skip gears alot when just crusing around. Last time I figured it I was getting about 19 mpg with about 80% of driving in town.

I believe my Gt with 4.10's use to tack about 2800rpms at 70mph on the highway.. so its not toooo bad highway wise

4.10's is plenty for a DD GT. Now if you went with 28" tires I'd go at least 4.30.

Im going to school right now and i have a 2 hour highway drive there so im waiting till the summer to put some in, but ya the 410s are what i want i was saying the 430s were too much gear for me

4.10's will be plenty and with a good set of DR's, will help drop your times. Still really good run with that 60'

That's about what my 00 gt ran. It had cai or xpipe with bullets dumped tb and plenum and udp pulleys. It ran the best of 8.60s at 80 in the 1/8 and 13.5 at 104.9 in the quarter with stock gears and 295/50r15 street tires
