01 cobra to 03 cobra fog light conversion????

I have just upgraded my 2001 Cobra front bumper to the 2003, the connectors don't match up as I knew but I cannot seem to find a set of connectors for the wiring to the light itself. Has anyone done this before, how did you get the 01 wiring to connect to the 03 bulb???

Did you have to get an 03 hood as well to fit the new front bumper or did your 01 hood still work?

force them in there, thats what i did, i think there was a little lip on the bulb or the plug that i took off, the w/ a little effort they go

I don't want to force it then break something, they sell a splice kit at Ford that I'll try. Thanx though
