ANYONE looking to mold a '99 or an '01 17" by 10" or 10.5": wheel? PM If you have any thoughts please post.

Not to sound like an ass, but who are these guys? Do they do this for a living?

Again, not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but Weld Craft already does this...about $ 170 per wheel. You use your wheels as donors, and the turnaround time is about 10 business days. They guarantee their work.

Edit reason: I've personally used Weld Craft and have been nothing but happy with their work.

probably a good 3/4" or so.

I was told not to use widened wheels by a number of manufacturers, so i bought a set of cheap DD cobra r wheels

Yep, I've read the same thing which is why I'm reluctant to have them cut. BTW quad, my cousin has the identical MB you're getting, right down to the color, very nice.
