01 Cobra, good Price?!?!?

So my friend has an 2001 Cobra for sale @ 6800....it izza rebuilt title and light work to the heads, which need to be rebuilt or just replaced.

Engine has only 15,000+ miles...

sound like a good deal??!! And where can i get some reliable rebuilt heads?

I'd stay away from bad title cars. If they get into an accident the insurance co. won't give you crap for value. Also you never know what kind of problem you are buying.

that's pretty solid advice... $6800 seems really high anyway you slice it imo

yeah honestly, seems high especially for a car with a salvage title. no matter how much you fix the car, its not gonna be right..... I paid $6800 for mine with no accidents or problems but it had 175,000 miles. I don't think I would pay more than $5K... ----especially with it needing heads.
