01 Cobra Clutch problems

Quick question.. Has anyone had a problem with their 01 Cobras clutch?.. my clutch acts fine, but when the pedal is all the way in you can hear the throwout bearing whine.. loud enough to hear even with the windows up.... I know this can't be good, but has anyone else had this problem?:burnout:

I had the same problem. It was the worst sound. I took it to the dealer a couple of times and they couldn't reproduce it. The strange thing is that it has gone away and the clutch works well.

Mine has roughly 11K miles on it, no probs with clutch....

My clutch actually came apart at 4000 miles. This was with normal shifting on the highway. The service department that took care of the repair was on the phone with Ford about why it might of come apart. Ford wanted to know about excessive discoloration on the flywheel to see if I was "beating" on it or not. Warranty took care of it, but they never could say what might have caused it. :-?
