Here's an interesting little factoid I learned while swapping shocks this weekend...The REAR '01 shocks come WITHOUT any hardware !!!
See the threads on the two studs. The '01 rear shock threads are the same as they are on the front shocks. Meaning that you either have to buy new bolts & bushings from Ford when purchasing these shocks or reuse the ones from the front shocks if they are in good condition. I chose the latter option.
FYI, the front '01 shocks come complete. Nuts & bushings.
Also, since my truck is lowered with the Hotchkis springs, the ride
is much smoother with the '01 pieces. They come highly recommanded from me.
