Trying to gather consensus on typical 60 foot times for the 01 Cobra on the Comp TA ZR's.

Friday night at ATCO (NJ) I could only muster a 2.286 and 2.368 on what appeared to be a good hooking track.

I was coming out between 1500-2000 but spun really bad.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!!!

Terry,

What RPM are you launching at, I tried 1500 and 2000 and spun with moderately slipping the clutch.

a possible cause is that ATCO makes you run through the waterbox as opposed to going around it, I think after I cleaned the tires they were still wet, but just a thought.

With a 2.28 60 ft. I ran a dismal 13.91 at 103.81.

NOT what I was expecting...

Side note: Saw a new Z06 Vette run consistent 12.2 -12.3, bone stock at 117!

I've gotten a 2.05 60 foot at the local 1/8 mile track (runnin 30 lbs. in the Comps) slipping the clutch, ran a best of 8.739, had it at the quarter in indy weekend before last and couldn't get better than a 2.25 60', 13.83x @101.xx.
